Class Descriptions
Mommy & Me Share those speclal smiles and hugs in our class designed
especially for the parent and toddler. Songs & exercises based on dance and
gymnastics fundamentals – specifically designed for each age group,
incorporating skills and rhythm exercises. Share the moments!

Jazz/Hip Hop At Fancy Feet we’re on the cutting edge of what’s hot! All of our
jazz classes incorporate the fun funky styles of Hip Hop and classic jazz
techniques.
Gymnastics GO for the Olympic Gold! Cartwheels. Round offs, Back Hand Springs
and more! Learn the techniques of Floor Gymnastics with an age appropriate
curriculum.
Combo This special class combines a half hour of Tap and half an hour of Ballet.
Beginners should take a Level 1 class (4 yrs – 7 yrs).
Creative Movement This unique class combines ballet basics, coordination skills,
rhythm exercises and fantasy dancing. This quick paced class is especially
designed for the attention span of a 3 year old.
Tap: This fun and exciting class follows the classic tap class along with rthym tap as well.
Salsa Move to the beats of Latin music as you learn the art of Salsa.
Lyrical Dance This is a contemporary form of Ballet. This class is set to
today’s music and its dances interperet the words of the songs and are expressed
by the dancer in the body and face. This is perfect for the student that loves Ballet
but hates classical music.
Ballet Classical technique with a mix of Russian & Cecchetti styles.
Contemporary Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres, including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet.
Modern Dance A dance style that rejects many of the strict rules of classical ballet, focusing instead on the expression of inner feelings. Turning against the structured techniques, costumes and
shoes of ballet, these dancers favor a more relaxed, free style of
dancing. Modern dance pioneers often danced in bare feet.
